Rhonda Kildea founded New Horizons Counseling Center in 2004 out of a desire to increase the quality of mental health care in Southern Nevada and to help people find peace with their bodies and themselves.
Rhonda is a fully licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has a Masters’ Degree in Counseling and Educational Psychology from the University of Nevada at Reno. She has a specialized certification in treating eating disorders, CEDS, and is currently training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is an established and effective method for the treatment of PTSD.
The New Horizons Counseling Center team works with Rhonda, and directly with our patients, to help them overcome challenges and live life to the fullest.
